The Mace Missile

This large missile was about the same size and weight of a small jet fighter. It was
capable of carrying a conventional or nuclear warhead. In Feb. 1958 a Mace was
launched from White Sands and flew to Wendover Air Force Base in Utah. It replaced
the Matador in the Air Force Inventory.
