The Pogo Hi Rocket

This small rocket was used to carry a 24-foot metalized parachute or instrumentation package to altitudes above 50,000 feet. After being ejected at peak altitude the parachute or signals from the instrumentation would appear as an actual target on radar screens. The rocket was developed by the Physical Science Laboratory of New Mexico State University.
