The Tartar Missile

During the 60's this was the smallest Navy surface-to-air missile and was placed on destroyer-type ships and as a secondary battery on larger ships. Testing of this supersonic missile took place at the U.S.S. Desert Ship located at Launch Complex 35 at White Sands.
