The V-2 rocket arcs over as it is launched off of the deck of the USS
Midway. This is the only launch of a V-2 off of a ship. One other
project was "Operation Pushover" in which a V-2 was exploded on a
reproduction ship deck to see what damage would be caused if the
V-2 exploded prior to lift off.
