Assembled model is 190 mm long. Development of Viking sounding
rocket was started in 1946. 12 rockets was fired. After this Viking
rockets served as 1st and 2nd stages of Vanguard satellite launch
vehicle. Model is presenting Viking 10 rocket, which was fired on
May 7, 1954.
